Yuanjiacun Open-pit iron mine has a lot of mined-out areas by disordered underground mining after many years. According to the characteristics of underground mined-out area of Yuanjiacun Open-pit iron mine, the 1740-10-7# mined-out area is processed by the blasting caving method at a time by hole-by-hole blasting based on the Orica high precision millisecond non-electric detonator. The research results show that, the method of this paper can eliminate the potential safety hazard and ensure the production progress of open-pit iron mine at the same time.

Slowly inclined medium thick and thick ore bodies mining has always been a technical problems in the mining industry. The surface of Zhangjiaxialou iron mine is not allowed to collapse and the ore grades is low. According to this situation, the sublevel open stopping method based on ordinary scraper and remote control scraper is proposed. By technical and economic comparison, if the remote control scraper is adopted, some mining engineerings such as sublevel mine roadways and ore loading roadways, the mining-cutting ratio of the remote control scraper is 33.9% of that of ordinary scraper, the cost of tonnage ore is reduced to 13.98 yuan. So the sublevel open stopping method is technically feasible and economically rational.

Research on application, comparing with the conventional collector, of low temperature resistant BK425 collector in reverse flotation of high-magnesia cellophane for magnesium reduction was carried out. The grinding fineness, dosage of sulfuric acid, dosage of BK425, temperature, etc. on the influence of magnesium reduction was researched with fixed additional conditions. The results showed that BK425, has the best performance on reverse flotation of magnesium reduction and scarcely affected by temperature, is a promising collector. Phosphorus concentration, with P2O5 grade of 28.76%, P2O5 recovery of 91.78%, MgO content of 1.17% can received through one rough, one cleaning, and one scavenge closed-circuit flotation process, with the grinding fineness of 70% passing 0.074 mm, BK425 dosage of 600 g/t, sulfuric acid as regulator.

Using granite rare metals, mainly of niobium and zirconium, in Inner Mongolia as research object, the optimal tailings discarding mode and feeding size was determined through magnetic separation, gravity separation and selective grinding tests according to the mineralogy properties. Comprehensive recovery of the ore was achieved through magnetic separation, flotation and gravity separation united process. The results showed that magnetic separation, flotation and gravity separation united process solve the problems of valuable minerals distributed in fine grains and hard to liberate, and low recovery of valuable minerals. Rare earth concentrate with REO grade of 38.005% and recovery of 63.26%, niobium concentrate with Nb2O5 grade of 7.752% and recovery of 7.752%, zirconium (hafnium) concentration with Zr(Hf)O2 grade of 53.554% and recovery of 53.554% was achieved separately.The useful minerals in the ore such disseminated extent is small, hard monomer dissociation, the shortcomings of comprehensive recovery rate is low, and eventually won the.

Based on the research of various distribution of flotation feeding size on the reverse flotation process and results, it is concluded that large quantity of middlings will produced, both the reverse flotation process and indicators are destabilize, when the content of poorly liberated inter-particles is high in the feed. In comparison, when the grain size distribution of feeding is uniform, iron ore is well liberated, few of middlings quantity from reverse flotation, stability and balance of the reverse flotation process will easily achieved.

The fault structures of Fuxingchun gold deposit is well developed.The main ore-controlling structures is developed in the layered structures of the contact zone of marble of Zhenzhumen formation and schist of Dalizi formation,and northwestern,northeastern brittle shear fault zones.Rock structural plans have great impact on the rock mechanical property,so it can be divided into II,IIIand IV structural plane.The engineering geological petrofabric is divided into the Quaternary lax rock,harder-strong thin thick metamorphic rock,hard lump carbonate rock and hard lump volcanic rock in line with the lithology and rock mechanical property.The well developed bedding,foliation and joints,and poor integrity and engineering geological conditions of the rocks in the distribution area of hard lump carbonate rock group.Therefore,layers of the rocks should be studied in the future so as to deal with the engineering geological problems in the mining area.

According to the working conditions, the site vibration test method, dam risk analysis method, seepage simulation method and stability analysis method are adopted to analyze the tailings dam stability under the action of blasting vibration waves, and determine the main factors that affect the safety of tailings dam, and determine the security boundary conditions of tailing dam under different operating conditions. The research results indicate that, under the proposed vibration conditions the tailings dam is not safe when vibration velocity is 12 cm/s, and 6.0 cm/s is the maximum security allowed vibration velocity.

In view of the low air volume, high dust concentration, exhaust gas accumulation of diesel engine and high temperature of the signal machine ventilation pattern of the 2 600 m tunneling faces of the Longshou mine Ⅰ# mining area, the combined ventilation technology is proposed based on large diameter borehole and wind libraries transition so as to calculate the key technical parameters. Contrastive analysis between the combined ventilation technology and signal machine ventilation pattern are done from the perspective of the technical feasibility and economy. The analysis results show that, the performance of the former is better than the later. Besides that, the research results has the guiding significance for long-distance tunneling ventilation in the future.
