Abstract: The advanced abutment pressure of the working face is complicated due to the control of the subsidence of the overlying strata of the roof,and the roof breaking form is also different from the conventional island working face. In order to better control the surrounding rock of the island filling working face,taking the C8301 working face of Yunhe Coal Mine as the background,the change trend of the advance abutment pressure and the deformation of the coal pillar are studied,and the microseismic activity law during the mining process of the working face is also analyzed. The results show that : ①The first weighting step of the island filling working face increases obviously,and the first weighting occurs when the working face advances to about 120 m. ②The overall deformation of coal pillars on both sides of the island filling face is small,which can maintain the relative stability of coal pillars. ③In the mining process of island filling working face,there are obvious characteristics of pressure,but the pressure intensity is much smaller than that of normal island working face. This study provides guidance for the safe mining of deep island filling working face.
