Abstract: There are large amount of fluorite in oxidized ore tailings, Baiyun Obo, with complex ore properties, fine disseminated, and difficult to have a good separation. Using new depressor, through rare earth flotation, bulk flotation (one roughing, two cleanings), regrinding for mixed bubbles, fluorite rough flotation(one roughing, six cleanings), impurity removing by high intensity magnetic separation process, fluorite concentrate assaying CaF2 95.62%, 0.69% SiO2, 0.34% CaCO3, and fluorite recovery of 59.46% is obtained.
