Abstract: In order to improve the quality of a rough concentrate, with iron grade of 54.49%, obtained by dealing with a lean hematite through gravity separation, upgrading experiments of the rough concentrate by magnetic separation, gravity separation, flotation process is conducted, and stage grinding, low intensity magnetic separation, high intensity magnetic separation, reverse flotation process is selected. Mixed concentrate with iron grade of 64.16%, yield of 75.04%, iron recovery of 88.35% is obtained through the optimum process, and provides a reliable technical basis for the resources utilization of the tailings.
