Due to constantly rising of iron concentrate price in recent years, some of the low grade ore has more mining value, which also leads to iron tailings piling quantity continuously increasing in China, not only waste land resources, but also causing serious environment pollution. Making comprehensive utilization of these iron tailings resources, it could create economic benefit. Meanwhile, reduce environment pollution seems increasingly important. Comprehensive utilization status of iron tailings in China currently was reviewed, existing problems in tailings comprehensive utilization in China at present were pointed out and suggestions were given.

Aiming at full use of limited mineral resources, reasonable development of low grade and associated mineral resources, molybdenum tungsten concentrate market price was analyzed and forecasted, and two major influence factors of concentrate price and recovery rate were considered by using forecast price, molybdenum and tungsten equivalent conversion coefficient were calculated, then molybdenum tungsten technical economy indexes of Sandaozhuang open-pit mine were analyzed and calculated. The results indicate due to the tungsten price rises, ores which did not meet the economic stripping ratio could increase benefits for the mine after mining and recovery. Reasonable recycling tungsten could prolong service time and create more profits for mine.

According to the recent development of the third-generation geothermal engineering technology and the development of ground source heat pump technology, the connotation of SEST was proposed and the basic principle of SEST process system was presented. Combining with traditional shallow geothermal energy utilization technology and deep stratum energy storage technology, considering the features of coal mine, three energy storage models of energy storage system available in coal mine were given and also the mathematical analysis was done on model by adopted heat-transfer mechanism, the application in coal mine was analyzed through engineering application.

Taken the 15018 working face of Zhaogu No.1 mine as the engineering background, coal rib spalling deep mechanism of 12011 working face was studied and analyzed by theoretical analysis and numerical simulation. Shaft theory model analysis was done on coal rib spalling form under abutment pressure effect, changing situations of coal rib spalling of different mining height and depth were obtained, and the coal rib spalling would increase with the increasing of mining height and depth of working face. Inducement mechanism of large cutting height coal rib spalling was analyzed through simulation of vertical displacement, horizontal displacement of coal and coal plastic zone of different mining height and depth, which had a certain guiding significance for safety production and support design of large cutting height working face which coal rib spalling serious.

Aiming at sodium silicate was adopted as the dispersant in the past sulfur dressing test at Luohe iron ore, sulfur dressing reagent investment would increase in future practical production, also made final tailings hard to settlement,so,Luohe iron ore flotation reagent system optimization research was done.Comparison was done between verify designed flotation reagent system test and optimize flotation reagent system test.Finally,on the premise of available sulfur content of raw ore was 6.0%,sulfur concentrate of available sulfur content 39.27% and recovery rate 70.12% were obtained in verify designed flotation reagent system test;Through flotation reagent system optimization,sulfur concentrate of available sulfur content 35.05% and available sulfur recovery rate 77.87% were obtained without sodium silicate.Test results indicates,influence to beneficiation index is little with or without sodium silicate,so this reagent could be cancelled,which achieve the goal of energy saving and the economic benefits is remarkable.

To increase lead-antimony flotation indexes of a high grade lead-antimony-zinc polymetallic sulphide ore in Guangxi,new depressant TF and combined collectors FG+HB were developed through flotation experimental study,good indexes of lead grade 26.34% and recovery rate 94.03%,antimony grade 25.86% and recovery rate 93.34% in lead-antimony concentrate were obtained in lead-antimony flotation closed circuit test,recovery rate of lead and antimony has increased 7.56% and 7.39% compared with current production index.

Untimely treatment of goaf which left after underground mining of deposit could influence the mine safe production and daily life of people living around. Scientific goaf treatment must be based on stability analysis of goaf. Taken an iron ore as the example, on the basis of establishment of goaf three-dimensional numerical model, through analysis of factors like maximum principal stress of goaf, shear risk degree and so on, it can be concluded that the whole goaf group was stable and local unstable. It provides scientific basis for treatment of this goaf.

Blasting is one of the main processes in mining production, not only the operating risk is highest, but also has greatest influence degree to around environment, meanwhile, it is the basic of follow-up risk control. For the safe production's common problems facing in mirabilite mine in Sichuan province, blasting earthquake source characteristic, vibro-wave transfer law and response characteristics of surface buildings (structures) were analyzed scientifically. Blasting vibration dynamic response control theory and engineering design methods were created, and technological procedure and corresponding management measures were developed. Then systematic safety comprehensive technology system was formed. Five years popularity and practice show that the technology is mature, the management is effective, and the safety is secure.

For the complex hydrogeology condition of Shicao village coal mine, during shaft construction and before the formal drainage system put into use, the ideal method for the control of the water is the measures named “blocking is major and discharging is supplement”, so grouting is one of the effective measures that could control the water by blocking, choice of reasonable grouting technology, grouting material and proper slurry concentration and other related parameters were discussed.

Optimized layout of gas drainage hole of 1081 working face should be done to solve the problem of gas concentration overrun in stopping process of this working face of a coal mine frequently. Through the analysis of influence factors to gas drainage effect by drilling, stopping area divided into several areas of relevant drills space according to different pre-draining time to make full use of construction drilling by using theoretical equation of drilling layout space. Through arrangement face hole in the front of the working face in according with “Three Zones” theory, could improve drilling extraction ratio effectively. It proves that this drilling layout plan has key practical value in drainage parameters design.
