Abstract: Due to constantly rising of iron concentrate price in recent years, some of the low grade ore has more mining value, which also leads to iron tailings piling quantity continuously increasing in China, not only waste land resources, but also causing serious environment pollution. Making comprehensive utilization of these iron tailings resources, it could create economic benefit. Meanwhile, reduce environment pollution seems increasingly important. Comprehensive utilization status of iron tailings in China currently was reviewed, existing problems in tailings comprehensive utilization in China at present were pointed out and suggestions were given.
