    Through the site in situ test , slope weathering fracture zone test, slope structural plane investigation, rock mass quality evaluation, slope rock mass strength parameter analysis, rock mass strength index back analysis and slope stability calculation were done on Miaogou Iron Mine slope, open pit final slope angle of Miaogou Iron Mine could increase from original design 48° to 52° was proposed, and economic effect was analyzed.

    The chromite ore in some place of Philippines belong to the low-grade refractory slope chromite sands with high content of iron. But this ore are slimed seriously, of which the ores are up to 69.73% -0.019 mm, so it is difficult to separate. Beneficiation tests on this sample are made. Chromium concentrate with Cr2O3 content of 44.15% and recovery of 34.23% is accessed from the raw ores with Cr2O3 content of 4.85% through the process of ore-washing, desliming and gravity separation. And the ratio of chromium and iron is 1.69. This process is simple, and it provides a new way to recycle this type of ore.

    At present, some of iron ore stopes at domestic have a certain amount of waste rocks. Some rocks are treated as waste rock, but the waste rock also contains magnetic iron minerals with good dressing ability. Experiments on waste rocks from an Iron Mine at domestic are made through the process of stage dry magnetic separation and dry concentrate separation after grinding. The results show that after a large number of waste rocks tailings are cast by dry magnetic separation, and dry concentrates are treated by low intensity magnetic separation after grinding, high-quality iron concentrates are achieved.

    A certain low-grade limonite in Guizhou mainly exists in goethite, siderite and minor magnetite and pyrite, which belongs to the refractory iron ore. The conventional magnetic separation, flotation, magnetic roasting-low intensity magnetic separation can not reach the satisfactory indicators. A good index with Fe concentrate grade of 68.77% and recovery of 84.18% were obtained by the process of chloride reduction roasting-low intensity magnetic separation, which provides a new idea for the development and utilization of the minerals.

    Using grey correlation analysis method, took the statistical data of non-coal mine accident during 2004 to 2008 in China as the example, took the number and death toll of accident as the reference index, through the calculation and analysis of grey correlation degree between violate operating rules, bad environment of production place, short or defective on safety provision and other factors to non-coal mine accident, grey relational order derived from grey correlation degree, main relative factors which influence non-coal mine accident was confirmed, quantitative analysis result on relationship between accident multi-factors and non-coal mine accident was obtained. This method was simple and accuracy was high, provided a kind of comparative scientific quantitative evaluation method for the relationship confirm between non-coal mine accident factors, provided supports for accident main result analysis and master accident occurrence regularity, helpful to reduce the occurrence of non-coal mine accident, ensured normal operation of mine enterprise production.

    In the analysis of airflow status in network by traditional ventilation network solution method, airflow was always considered as steady flow, dynamic changing process in network could not be simulated. Actually, in the case of ventilation network disaster airflow always was unsteady flow. Through the analysis of air flow law of one-dimensional unsteady compressible flow air in ventilation network during mine disaster period, new mine ventilation network solution method-characteristic method was proposed by using CFD analysis method, to improve the quality of mine ventilation management, enhance the capacity for resisting natural disasters of mine, ensure the safety production of coal mine.

    Took coal mine digging system as the research object, using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, combined with actual situation in mine site, each driving team as a unit, a set of simple and practical evaluation index and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model of the whole digging system were built, evaluation result of this mine digging system was obtained. Corresponding security countermeasures were proposed aim at this result. Provided guarantee to reduce mine accident incidence and ensure coal mine safety production.

    The influence of mutual change among injection pressure, induced flow and induced distance upon filter shell dust cleaning effect was studied by adopt theoretical model analysis and experimental method. The result indicated, on the condition of other parameters remained unchanged, induced air flow of any section was proportional to induced distance, average flow velocity of section was inversely proportional to induced distance, filter shell dust cleaning effect depended on the result of interaction between them; test verified lateral pressure peak value of filter shell from pulse induced flow formed by φ6 mm supersonic nozzle was about 2~3 times than φ4 mm nozzle when the induced distance was 150 mm.
