In order to improve the recovery rate of magnetic iron and maximize the utilization of tail⁃ ings resources inZhangzhuang Mining Concentrator of Anhui Masteel Mining Resources Group，aiming at the process design defects of the existing grinding separation wet tailings without scavenging operation，the process optimization experiment of adding disc magnetic separator group and intelligent control of disc mag⁃ netic recovery system at tailings chute was carried out.The test results show that after adding the tailings re⁃ covery system，about 10 000 tons of iron concentrate powder with iron grade of 66% can be recovered from wet tailings every year. At the same time，the intelligent control system of tailings recovery is optimized，the level of intelligent manufacturing of mines is improved，and the economic benefits are remarkable.
