Experimental Study on Magnetic Separation and Re-enrichment of a Lepidolite Rough Concentrate

The rough concentrate lithium grade of a lithium mica in Jiangxi is about2.60% after flota⁃
tion,and the product competitiveness is weak. In order to improve the market competitiveness of the lepido⁃
lite concentrate and achieve the requirements of more than 3.0% lithium grade,the magnetic separation and
re-enrichment test of lepidolite rough concentrate was carried out. The results show that under the condi⁃
tions of grinding fineness of -0.074 mm 65%,feed concentration of 25%,magnetic medium rod diameter of
3 mm,background magnetic induction intensity of 1.3 T in high intensity magnetic roughing 1 and back⁃
ground magnetic induction intensity of 1.5 T in high intensity magnetic roughing 2,lepidolite concentrate
with lithium grade of 3.03% and lithium recovery of 82.03% can be obtained by two times of high intensity
magnetic roughing process. The test has achieved the effect of re-enrichment of on-site flotation concen⁃
trate,which can be used as the basis for on-site process transformation.
