Abstract: The porcelain clay deposit in the Luojiangxia mining area is a large-scale weathering crust residual leaching type porcelain clay deposit found in Suichuan County. It is estimated that the total amount of porcelain clay mineral resources ( control+inference ) is 5.437 8 million tons. According to the geological characteristics of the mining area，the geological characteristics of the ore body，the chemical composition of the ore，the analysis results，the porcelain test and other data，the genesis of the deposit，the metallo⁃ genic geological conditions and the metallogenic stage of the deposit in the mining area are analyzed，and the metallogenic conditions of the porcelain deposit in the mining area are summarized. The prospecting cri⁃ teria of granite weathering deposits in this area are determined. The study has guiding significance for the prospecting of clay deposits in the same strata in this area.
