Abstract: Beneficiation experiment is carried out on a high-sulphur magnetite ore, Auhui province. Making full use of the differential of ore properties, on the basis of the conditioned experiments, stage grinding, low intensity magnetic separation, flotation process is selected. Iron concentrate assaying 66.07% iron and 0.10% impurity sulphur, 73.68% iron recovery is achieved as well as sulphur concentrate with sulphur grade of 37.67%, recovery of 42.68%. By screening + low intensity magnetic separation process, iron ore with good liberation can effectively separated in advance, the amount for grinding can decreased by 65.28 percentage points, effectively saving costing.
