Study on Reasonable Drawing Interval of Fully Mechanized Top Coal Cavingof Large Mining Height of Very Thick Coal Seam

Abstract: Through PFC2D numerical simulation software, movement and loss situation of top-coal were simulated and analyzed, and according to corresponding relations of recovery rate of top-coal and percentage of refuse content to confirm reasonable drawing interval, the study indicated, under the condition of thickness of top coal were 14，16，18 m and mining height was 4.5 m, reasonable drawing interval were 1.6，1.6，3.2 m, recovery rate of top coal reached to 85.2%、83.6%、83.4% separately, percentage of refuse content also in allowed band, with the increase of thickness of top coal, drawing interval should reasonable increased to raise recovery rate of top coal.
