Abstract: No.2 mining area of Jinchuan is a polymetallic intergrowth Large pit-mining mountain, with mining depth declined gradually, 1 150 m depth of middle part descending,entered into deep bottom column recovery phase. A series of unsafe factors existed and phenomenon like overhigh stress concentration and energy accumulation appeared of bottom column, possibility of sudden overall disaster then instability caused existing in bottom column recovery process, made the difficulty of stoping increase. Through introduction of success experience and countermeasure of safe mining and practice of deep bottom column difficult mining ore bodies, could provides management experience and technical support for reference for safe mining of deep bottom column difficult mining ore bodies of follow-up panel.
