Experimental Study on Improving of Iron Concentrate Grade of Jinshandian Mine

With the increase of underground mining depth in Jinshandian Iron Mine,the disseminated particle size of ore becomes finer,the dilution rate increases,and the iron grade of concentrate using the original process flow decreases year by year. Combined with the on-site process,the four-stage magnetic separation operation test was carried out by using CH-CXJ34000 elutriation magnetic separator instead of the original CTB1230 semi-reverse flow wet drum magnetic separator. The results show that when the feed grade is the same,the concentrate iron grade obtained by the elutriation magnetic separator is 66.15%, while the concentrate grade obtained by the original drum magnetic separator is only 64.10%. After the opti⁃ mization and transformation of the separation process,the purpose of increasing iron and reducing impuri⁃ ties is realized,which has the promotion value for similar mines.
