Abstract: For those companies who purchase ores from overseas mines for processing，it is easy to cause economic losses with poor management due to negative factors such as long ores procurement process， many factors involved，difficulties of management，poor economy and so on. In order to provide guidance for similar companies in risks preventing，taking a company that purchases copper-cobalt ores from overseas mines to produce copper-cobalt concentrate as an example，the experience of effectively preventing and con⁃ trolling the risks of ores procurement by improving management system，clarifying the division of responsi⁃ bilities，implementing separate pile management，verifying sampling and strict internal control management is introduced.
