Abstract: In order to verify the adaptability of high-sulfur ore to the existing beneficiation process, Luohe Iron Mine conducted experimental research on high-sulfur ore. The test results show that the sulfur concentrate with yield of 12.60%,Es grade of 41.21% and Es recovery of 88.27% and the iron concentrate with yield of 31.13%,TFe grade of 68.30% and iron recovery of 98.18% can be obtained by one roughing, two cleaning and three scavenging flotation,and magnetic separation with the existing production process. The sulfur concentrate with yield of 11.95%,Es grade of 41.68% and Es recovery of 84.56% and the iron concentrate with yield of 31.58%,TFe grade of 68.28% and iron recovery of 98.32% can be obtained by applying the current production flotation process verification test. The effective sulfur recovery rate is higher by using one roughing,two cleaning and three scavenging process,indicating that increasing the number of scavenging can improve the effective sulfur recovery rate. Qualified sulfur concentrate and iron concentrate products can be obtained by both processes,and high-sulfur ore has good adaptability to the current production beneficiation process.
