Abstract: The Tangshang lead-zinc polymetallic deposit is located in Baoxi Township，Longquan City，southwestern Zhejiang Province. Based on detailed field geological survey and comprehensive analy⁃ sis of previous data，the metallogenic geological conditions，prospecting criteria and ore body characteris⁃ tics of the deposit are analyzed. The following understandings are obtained : ①The ore types of Tangshang lead-zinc deposit can be divided into quartz vein type lead-zinc ore and altered rock type lead-zinc ore. ② The hydrothermal alteration of Tangshang lead-zinc deposit mainly includes epidotization，chloritization， carbonation，potassiation，skarnization，hematite mineralization and fluoritization. The intensity of leadzinc mineralization is positively correlated with the intensity of potassiation，epidotization and chloritiza⁃ tion. ③Tangshang lead-zinc deposit is a hydrothermal lead-zinc deposit.
