Abstract: The production process and index of copper concentrate are unstable due to greater fluctua⁃ tion of raw ore grade in the concentrator of Shaxi Copper Mine. In order to solve the problems caused by fre⁃ quent fluctuation of raw ore grade, long time chemical analysis and serious lag of production adjustment, a kind of on-line X-ray fluorescence grade analyzer system is adopted. The field application showed that the precision of the original concentrate-tailing grade model improved for different degrees, achieving better calibration effect. The system can reflect the change of copper grade quickly and accurately, which creates conditions for the flotation operators to adjust process parameters in time and improves the level of intelli⁃ gent construction of the company. Further improvement of the system is needed to make the on-line X-ray fluorescence grade analyzer reflect the production situation more accurately and more quickly, and better serve the production.
