Abstract: Zijinshan Gold-Copper Mine,Zijin Mining Group Co.,Ltd.) The displacement monitoring data are analyzed and the catastrophe theory is adopted to caculate the slope displacement mutation, so, the slope distribution area of critical state is obtained. The slope stability is evaluated by comparison of the macroscopic natural slope deformation and the caculation results of limit equilibrium and catastrophe theory.
