Abstract: In order to precisely control the temperature of rotary kiln, limonite ore in rotary kiln equipment as the object of study, on base of the analysis on the principle of fuzzy control, combined with study of the fuzzy temperature control (FTC) and research of the coal/air ratio fuzzy adaptive control (FAC), fuzzy control system of rotary kiln is designed，and the best combustion process in rotary kiln is found. The results showed that the fuzzy control saves about 10% energy than manual control of combustion process of rotary kiln, which can control the temperature accurately in the whole process, and has the reasonable, feasible, safety, economical, efficient and environmental friendly advantages.
