Abstract: At present, there are many deficiencies of upward blasting holes charging in underground mines, such as, discontinuous charging, low efficiency, the high rate of explosive blown out from hole, low speed in transmission. To solve the above problems, the theory of upward blasting holes pneumatic charging with granular explosive is firstly studied. The air and explosive particles velocity in different locations by pneumatic transportation in the vertical pipe are analyzed. In addition, the pressure drop of explosive particles pneumatic transportation in the vertical pipe is put forward. According to the theoretic analysis, the field industry test was conducted, and the result of field test is similar to the result of the theoretic analysis.
