Abstract: In order to further improve the grinding grade and processing capacity of an iron ore dress⁃ ing plant, a wet pre-selection system was added to the primary ore process before grinding. In view of the failure of the LKBB-3673 single-layer banana screen selected for the dry screening part before pre-selec⁃ tion in the actual production of the dressing plant, the transformation of the main drive shaft bearing seat of the transmission device, the maintenance of the box exciter and the improvement of equipment spot inspec⁃ tion, lubrication, maintenance and other research were carried out. After the transformation, the operating life of the bearing seat and bearing is extended by 8 months, and the annual cost can be saved by 47 900 yu⁃ an. The labor intensity and maintenance cost of the workers are greatly reduced. This type of banana screen meets the requirements of the dry screen part before the wet pre-concentration of the concentrator, and the overall operation is stable.
