Abstract: In order to deal with the ecological destruction and social contradictions caused by mine development and promote the sustainable development of mining industry，based on the six dimensional mine construction framework，focusing on the dimension of environmental harmony，this paper systematical‐ ly analyzed the policy requirements and practical challenges of current mine construction in ecological civi‐ lization and green mine，and explains the main impact of mining activities on the environment and the con‐ flict between resource development and environmental protection. In order to realize the benign，coordinat‐ ed and circular development between the development and utilization of mineral resources and the protec‐ tion of ecological environment，not only the harmonious development of the ecological environment of mod‐ ern mine construction should be settled，but also the healthy development of the harmonious community en‐ vironment between the surrounding villages and communities of the mine shouldbe setted，and the harmoni‐ ous development of the whole ecosystem related to mining enterprises is promoted by creating a mining eco‐ system. The typical case of Sinosteel mining industry shows that this model can effectively promote the effi‐ cient utilization of resources，ecological restoration，community win-win and industrial synergy，and pro‐ vide practical reference for mining enterprises to achieve environmental friendliness，social harmony and economic benefit unification.
