Abstract: Funiu Mountain is located on the boundary line of cities in western Henan Province. Various natural protected areas have been established in the mountainous area，which are managed by different counties，cities and industry departments. Ecological protection and resource development are fragmented， which is not conducive to coordinated development. The resource survey shows that there are many cultural tourism scenic spots，typical geological relics，obvious biodiversity and abundant freshwater resources in Funiu Mountain area，which have the resource conditions for the construction of national parks. The planning suggestions of Funiu Mountain National Park are as follows : integrating the unified planning and coordinated development of mountain resources，taking into account the ecological protection and resource utilization in park zoning，and ecological restoration and construction according to local conditions. The planning and construction of the national park in the Funiu Mountain area can break the regional and industrial barriers，unify the planning and protection of typical geological relics such as biodiversity and rare species，dinosaur egg fossils，and water sources such as the Danjiangkou Reservoir area，and rationally develop mountain resources on the basis of ecological resource protection. Promote the coordinated development of economy，society and ecological civilization.
