Abstract: There are a lot of goaf under the northern slope of an open-pit mine in China，which indi⁃ rectly affect the surface mining area of 50 m × 200 m (width × length). Considering the current technical and economic conditions，the design of open-pit mining collaborative goaf treatment scheme includes sin⁃ gle-layer goaf treatment，flank goaf treatment and final step reconstruction. For the wing multi-layer goaf， the first layer of goaf is collapsed by single layer goaf treatment method，and the step is pushed to the flank of the next layer of goaf，and then the inclined hole is arranged to collapse the roof of the wing goaf. After blasting，the ore around the empty area is basically recovered without affecting the lower bench mining.
