Abstract: In order to recover iron-lithium mica and tantalum-niobium iron ore from a lithium-tanta⁃ lum-niobium polymetallic ore with Li2O grade of 0.31%, Ta2O5 grade of 0.01% and Nb2O5 grade of 0.02% in Jiangxi Province, the beneficiation process test was carried out. Firstly, the optimum process parameters of magnetic separation and flotation were determined by condition test. Then, the test results of magnetic sepa⁃ ration-flotation-gravity separation and magnetic separation-gravity separation-flotation process were com⁃ pared. The best principle process was magnetic separation to remove non-magnetic minerals-flotation recov⁃ ery of lithium-gravity separation to recover tantalum and niobium. The lepidolite concentrate with Li2O grade of 2.32% and recovery of 84.44%, and tantalum and niobium concentrate with Ta2O5 grade of 3.59%, Ta2O5 recovery of 37.03%, Nb2O5 grade of 8.42% and Nb2O5 recovery of 52.12% were obtained, which real⁃ ized the comprehensive recovery of lithium, tantalum and niobium.
Key words: lithium-tantalum-niobium ore, pre-throwing tails with magnetic separation, flotation, comprehensive utilization
