Aiming at the problem of excessive dust amount in fully mechanized excavation face of Huayang No.1 Coal Mine,through theoretical analysis,industrial test and other methods,the regional grad⁃ ing dust removal technology is studied.The specific grading dust removal system is designed,and it is pro⁃ posed to use jet spray to control the dust production of the cutting part. The optimal water pressure of the spray is determined to be 2.5 MPa through experiments,and the optimal installation angle of the nozzle is 10°~15°.Aiming at the problem of high dust concentration at the driver of the shearer,the wind knife and the cyclone dust collector are designed to form the dust isolation and dust collection system of the driver′s po⁃ sition.The scattering spray equipment is designed to form a water curtain to control the dust spillover in the tunneling working area.The designed grading dust control system is applied in the 151214 heading face of Huayang No.1 Coal Mine. The overall dust reduction efficiency is more than 96%,and the application effect is good.The research results provide a new direction for the comprehensive control of dust concentration in fully mechanized excavation face.
