The broken surrounding rock roadway is prone to deformation and failure by mining distur⁃ bance,which is an important supporting problem in deep mining.Taking the roadway failure in the broken and extremely broken sections of Kunyang Phosphate Mine as the research background,the finite element analysis method is used to analyze the displacement,stress distribution characteristics and plastic zone range of surrounding rock after roadway excavation.The study finds that after the excavation of the roadway, the tensile failure occurres on the two sides,a large number of shear plastic zones are generated at the arch shoulder,and the deformation and failure mechanism of the roof area is penetrated.Therefore,it is proposed to adopt the form of steel arch frame,lock foot bolt,steel mesh,connecting bar and shotcrete coupling sup⁃ port to prevent roadway collapse.The field application shows that the coupling support technology can effec⁃ tively control the deformation of the surrounding rock of the broken weak roadway,and the support effect is good.The research results provide a reference for roadway support in similar engineering geological condi⁃ tions.
