Research on Selection Test of Yanqianshan Magnetite Ore

In order to promote the rational development and utilization of Yanqianshan iron ore,the
ore in this area was taken as the research object,and the separation test was carried out on the basis of pro⁃
cess mineralogy analysis. The results show that the iron-bearing minerals of the ore are mainly magnetite,
the main gangue minerals are quartz,and there are clay minerals such as chlorite and hornblende. It is de⁃
termined that the separation process is stage grinding stage separation. The process parameters of each sec⁃
tion are magnetic separation at a section of -2 mm,and the magnetic separation field strength is 279 kA/m.
The first-stage grinding fineness is -75 μm content 80%,and the magnetic separation field strength is
159 kA / m. The second-stage grinding fineness is 90% of - 45 μm,and the magnetic separation field
strength is 95 kA/m. Finally,a magnetic concentrate with iron grade of 66.50% and iron recovery of 95.90%
can be obtained. The research results provide a reference for the development and utilization of iron ore re⁃
sources in this area.
