In order to recover ilmenite from titanium tailings of a vanadium-titanium magnetite ore in Western Panzhihua,high-intensity magnetic discarding tailings-classification grinding iron removal-high- intensity magnetic separation of iron removal tailings-flotation separation is carried out based on the chemi⁃ cal composition analysis and particle size analysis of the sample,a titanium concentrate withyield rate of 4.13%,TiO2 grade of 47.15% and recovery of 30.71% is obtained. Through the combined of high-intensity magnetic separation and flotation,the efficient recovery of ilmenite in titanium tailings can be achieved, which not only improves the recovery rate of ilmenite,but also improves the comprehensive utilization rate of resources. It is of great significance for the sustainable utilization of titanium resources. The research re⁃ sults can provide reference for the recovery and utilization of similar titanium tailings. #br#
