Stope Structure Parameter Optimization of Shallow Hole Shrinkage Subsequent Filling Method
in a Copper Mine

After years of mining in a copper mine,
the structural parameters of the stope have not been
improved in time,resulting in poor safety and low mining efficiency in the process of mining.In order to en⁃
sure the safety and stability of the mine goaf and reasonably improve the production efficiency,the stope
structure parameters are optimized by extended Mathews stability diagram method and numerical simulation.
The results show that the hydraulic radius of stope roof stability is determined to be 4.4 m by using the ex⁃
tended Mathews stability diagram method,and the hydraulic radius of stope side stability is 10.0 m.Com⁃
bined with the cloud diagram of displacement and plastic zone,when the width of the pillar is 10 m,the in⁃
ternal plastic zone is connected,which is not conducive to the long-term stability of the stope,and the
width of the pillar should be more than 12 m.When the length of the stope is 40 m and the height of the side
wall is
40 m,
it is recommended that the width of the stope is 10 m and the width of the pillar is
12 m.
