Abstract: A group of high and steep slopes are left on the north side of Laohulong open-pit limestone mine，which poses a serious threat to the production and living safety of the surrounding people. Based on the analysis of the stability and geological environment characteristics of the high and steep slope on the north side of Laohulong limestone mine，combined with the local overall land use planning，appropriate treatment schemes are adopted for treatment.The treatment scheme includes cutting slope and clearing slope for high and steep slope，eliminating safety hazards and repairing terrain. Then cover the soil，plant grass，restore the ecological environment landscape，and comprehensively utilize the land resources in the control area.
