Abstract: The main valuable components in the deep copper ore of a copper mine in Jiangxi Province are copper,gold,silver and sulfur. Chalcopyrite which is the main copper minerals,is embedded in the form of disseminated,lumpy and fine veins. The gold minerals are mainly natural gold and electrum. The silver minerals are mainly hessite,and the main sulfide minerals are pyrite. In order to determine the efficient and reasonable comprehensive recovery process of the ore,the beneficiation tests were conducted. The results showed that under the condition of coarse grinding fineness of -0.075 mm accounting for 65%,the cop⁃ per concentrate with Cu grade of 20.32%,Au content of 1.85 g/t,Ag content of 89.20 g/t,Cu recovery rate of 92.38%,Au recovery rate of 36.05% and Ag recovery rate of 42.30% was obtained by adopting the technological process of two roughings,three cleanings and one scavenging,in which the tailings of the first cleaning and the scavenging concentrate were combined and then grinded to - 0.045 mm accounting for 90%,and then returned to the roughing process for copper separation. The sulfur concentrate with S grade of 48.14% and recovery rate of 79.37% was obtained from copper tailings through one roughing,two cleanings and one scavenging process. The test results achieved the comprehensive recovery of copper,sulfur,gold and silver in the copper sulfide ore.
