Abstract: In the sequence of "three mining and one stope"，the two-step caving stope with safe，effi⁃ cient should be combined with the one-step stope in the middle.Taking the large stope in north of 60# line of Dongguashan Copper Mine as an example，combined with the caving characteristics of one-step goaf，a joint stoping scheme of 3 or 2 stopes is proposed.Through numerical simulation，it is verified that the joint stoping of 3 stopes has great influence on the stability of isolated pillars，and safety measures should be tak⁃ en to protect isolated pillars.The goaf stability is better when two stopes are combined.Through the industri⁃ al test，the three stopes and the joint stope scheme of two stopes have achieved good application results.
