Abstract: Titanium in a low-grade ilmenite ore abroad mainly exists in the form of ilmenite, account⁃ ing for 80.73% of the total titanium, and the secondary titanium mineral is vanadium-titanium magnetite, accounting for 14.25% of the total titanium. The dissemination of ilmenite is complicated, and most of the ilmenite is closely associated with gangue minerals, followed by vanadium-titanium magnetite. In order to efficiently develop and utilize the ore resources, the beneficiation process test was carried out. The results showed that the ore was discarded by once high-intensity magnetic separation when the grinding fineness was -0.074 mm accounting for 60%. For the coarsing concentrate in high-intensity magnetic separation, the iron was removed by once low-intensity magnetic separation when the regrinding fineness was -0.045 mm accounting for 55%. Then, the titanium was selected by flotation for the iron removal product with one roughing and one cleaning. Finally, high quality titanium concentrate with TiO2 grade of 48.61% and recov⁃ ery rate of 62.87% was obtained.
