Study and Practice on Pre-selection Discarding Process of Coarse Grain Using Gravity in China

Abstract: Metallic and nonmetallic ore resources are crucial foundation resource for national econo⁃ my and society development. Mature and high-efficient coarse grained pre-selection discarding technology is a powerful method to achieve highly efficient,low cost,green development for large amount ores resourc⁃ es in China with characteristics of poor,complex,fine,thin and loose. In order to promote the rational ap⁃ plication of pre-selection discarding technology for coarse grain with gravity,aiming at common gravity coarse preconcentration and waste disposal equipment,the working principle,advantages and disadvantag⁃ es of heavy media cyclone and jigging machine of were analyzed based on the brief introduction of the sig⁃ nificance of gravity coarse preconcentration and waste disposal. The technology research and practice situa⁃ tion of gravity coarse pre-separation and waste disposal for single ores such as lithium,tungsten,manga⁃ nese,iron and phosphorus and polymetallic ores such as copper,lead,zinc,tin,tantalum and niobium are introduced in detail. Finally,some suggestions are given for determining the waste disposal degree com⁃ prehensively,accurately and systematically.
