Abstract: In order to analyze the feasibility of 24 m high bench deep hole blasting in Barun Iron Mine, the continuous charging structure and hole bottom initiation method are used by the 24 m and 12 m bench blasting method, and the bench blasting processes are numerical simulated by using ANSYS/LSDYNA software,so as to analyze the stress variation regularities during the process of bench blasting. The study results show that rock stress variation regularities are consistent with each other, and the stress levels of the monitoring points located at the bottom and top of the bench are comparable, which show that the rocks broken effects of the bottom and top of the bench are both good, therefore, the feasible of 24 m high bench deep hole blasting in Barun Iron Mine is good.
