Numerical Simulation of Water Dielectric Interval Charging in Barun Mine

Abstract: In the process of bench blasting in deep concave openpit mine,the phenomenon of water hole is happened generally,so,the poor blasting effects (high large rate of the top of hole and many blasting foundations are occurred at the bottom of hole) can be occurred.During the process of water hole blasting,the influence of different waterlayer location to blasting effects is different.According to the actual production situation of Barun Mine,under the conditions of the waterlayer is located at the bottom or middle of blasting hole,the different charging structures are simulated and analyzed from the simulation aspects by adopting fluidsolid coupling algorithm model based on the nonlinear dynamic analysis software LSDYNA.The simulation results is analyzed,the unit effective stress cloud diagram and the maximum effective stress of the hole bottom and step slope are analyzed comprehensively,the transmission characteristics of the stress wave after blasting is discussed,besides that,the advantages and disadvantages of different charging structures are also studied in depth.Based on the above discussion results,some meaningful conclusions are obtained,and some suggestions about optimizing water hole blasting operation are given.
