Abstract: In view of the non-renewable mineral resources dwindling and according to the geological condition and the symbiotic characteristics of ore resources of Guangxi Limu mining area,the artifical deposits that come from the rare metal elements such as Nb,Ta in the process of mining are discussed in detail.The type,characteristics,and distribution of the artifical deposits are analysised,sedimentary areas of the rare metal elements such as Nb,Ta of the fourth tailings library are analysised and the distribution rule of the each rare metal elements are introduced,besides that,the econimic value of the artifical deposits is evaluated initially.According to the research results,the potential of the rare metal deposits of the tailings library is great.
