Abstract: The investigation on ore nature, flotation process, beneficiation equipment, industrial tests for Jinduicheng molybdenum ore provides a reliable basis for the new process design and industrialscale production of 57% molybdenum concentrate. The molybdenum concentrate grading at 57% with recovery rate of not less than that by the original flotation process was successfully achieved in industrial production by adopting the concentration offdrugs, the grinding and scouring, and the flotation column concentration. This new process has been applied into two concentration systems of the dressing plant with an annual 9000 tons of production capacity and molybdenum concentrate grade of 57%. It can provide highquality raw materials for high melting molybdenum oxide roasting process and acidfree lowtemperature ammonia leaching process of ammonium molybdate, thus increasing the technological level of molybdenum industry.
