Abstract: The content of mica in an iron tailing is 15.50%,and the grade of K2O is 1.51%. The exper⁃ imental study on the recovery of mica is carried out by flotation process. The results show that using NaOH as pH regulator, sodium hexametaphosphate as the inhibitor, and CYF-25 as the collector, mica concen⁃ trate with a K2O grade of 8.74% and recovery rate of 57.39% can be obtained by a closed-circuit flotation process of one roughing, three cleaning and one scavenging, which better realizes the recovery of mica com⁃ ponents in the tailings. The results can provide references for the recovery of tailings of same type.
