Abstract: In view of the high cost of flotation reagents in the low alkalinity copper-sulfur separation process of Wushan Copper Mine,a new inhibitor JD-1 and collector JY-1 were developed,and their ap⁃ plication effects were verified by laboratory tests and industrial tests. The results showed that the copper re⁃ covery rate increased by 0.35 percentage points in the roughing stage,and the copper recovery rate in the closed-circuit test increased from 90.93% to 92.33% in laboratory test. In the industrial test,under the condition of copper concentrate grade of 24.38%,the copper recovery rate of the new reagent combination (JD-1 dosage of 119.4 g/t,JY-1 dosage of 36.7 g/t)reached 90.38 %,which was 0.17 percentage points high⁃ er than that of the original reagent,and the sulfur recovery rate was increased by 0.35 percentage points. At the same time,the cost of beneficiation reagent was reduced by 20.24%(from 2.184 yuan/t to 1.742 yuan/t). JD-1 and JY-1 can achieve efficient separation of copper and sulfur under low alkalinity conditions,which are both economical and environmentally friendly,and provide technical reference for similar mines.
