Abstract: The phase composition, chemical composition and micro-morphology of one block of imported gold ores are analyzed by using MLA combined technology.Combined with the characteristic analysis of gold ores and jarosite residue, secondary mineral formed in acid mine drainage, the attribute identification of gold ores is realized. The results show that the surface of sample have holes, the micro morphology of jarosite in the sample is earthy and colloidal state, the gold content in the sample is 2.57g·t-1,the pH value is 3.71,and the acid characteristic is remarkable .The main phase of samle are FeS2,SiO2,KFe3(SO4)2(OH)6, K0.5-1 (Al,Fe,Mg)2(SiAl)4O10 (OH)2•nH2O ,BaSO4,CaSO4,eta l.The jarosite content in the sample is 7.43%, and the content of Zn,Cu and As far lower than the content of its in jarosite residue produced in zinc hydrometallurgy, and it doesn’t contain the phase composition of zinc ferrite and zinc silicate in the sample. Comprehensive analysis of the apperarance, microscopic morphology, phase composition, chemical composition of the sample, the sample conforms to natural mineral characteristics, inferred that the sample is probably structural altered rocks-host gold deposit or altered minerals of composite gold deposits transformed latterly by volcanic exhalative sedimentation.
