Abstract: The application of feeder automation can shorten the recovery time after power system failure and improve the reliability of the system，so it is more and more widely used in coal mine distribution network. Based on the actual situation of a coal mine distribution system，this study studies the feeder automation in the distribution network. The improved artificial immune algorithm is used to simulate and analyze different situations，optimize the installation cost of the feeder terminal unit，shorten the power outage time and improve the economic benefits. This study has reference value for related industries.
