Abstract: Xihuashan mining area has been mined for 100 years,resulting in a large area of surface landscape damage and ecological damage,which poses a great threat to the ecological environment and sus tainable development of the mining area. Based on the detailed investigation of geological environment in Xihuashan mining area,the main geological environment problems in Xihuashan mining area are analyzed and expounded. According to the principle of adjusting measures to local conditions and gradual progress, the ecological restoration layout of the whole Xihuashan mining area is carried out. The ecological restora tion scheme of repairing slope ecology and building mine park is put forward by using the technical methods of geological disaster prevention,landform restoration and slope greening. Ecological restoration proj ect will be of great significance to improve the local environment and promote local economic development.
