Abstract: Huashugou Copper Mine is located in the Qilian Mountain seismic belt,and the natural earthquake has a certain influence on the safety production of the mining area. The three elements of ' time,space and strength ' of microseismic events in the mining area are statistically analyzed. The variation of parameters such as βn value,η value,energy index and cumulative apparent volume of microseismic activity in the mining area before and after the earthquake reflects the law of ground pressure activity in the mining area. The results show that there is no obvious ground pressure activity in the mining area on the day of the natural earthquake,and there will be obvious ground pressure activity in the underground after 2~3 days of the large earthquake. The influence of natural earthquake on ground pressure activity in mining area has a certain lag,and has the characteristics of secondary disasters.
