Abstract: Interdisciplinary integration is a major feature of current scientific and technological devel⁃ opment and an effective path for cultivating innovative talents. The cross-integration of different disciplines can fill the knowledge gaps in the marginal areas between independent disciplines,greatly promote the in⁃ novation and development of the profession,and then improve the quality of talent training. According to the current situation of postgraduate training in the field of coal chemistry majoring in safety engineering, the problems existing in the interdisciplinary cultivation of coal chemistry and quantum chemistry are ex⁃ plored and analyzed,and the management system of standardized interdisciplinary postgraduate training, the establishment of interdisciplinary tutor groups,and the strengthening of interdisciplinary training are put forward in a targeted manner. Measures such as the construction of subject faculty and the establish⁃ ment of interdisciplinary postgraduate scientific research creation and exchange and innovation platforms, strive to achieve new breakthroughs in thinking methods and scientific research and creation capabilities for postgraduates in the interdisciplinary field of coal chemistry and quantum chemistry.
