Abstract: In order to increase the scale of geothermal water production, to meet the long-term supply of high sand area of geothermal water, the organization of high sand area of geothermal resources reserves verification work. Geothermal geological survey, audio magnetotelluric sounding, high density resistivity measurement, geothermal geological drilling, borehole temperature measurement, depressurization test, rock and mineral identification, water quality analysis and other work were carried out in the high sand area. The geothermal geological conditions of the geothermal field in the high sand area were basically identified, and the geothermal anomaly area of the geothermal field in the high sand area was delineated to be 1.33 km2. The relationship between the occurrence conditions of geothermal fluid and lithology is clarified. The main burial depth of geothermal reservoir is 40.00~121.00 m. It is determined that the channel of geothermal flu⁃ id is near north-south fracture and fissure karst cave development zone. The study provides an important basis for reserves calculation, exploration and development and long-term planning of geothermal resources in Gaosha area.
