Abstract: A kind of steel knot cemented carbide/Q235 steel composite wear resistant plate was pre⁃ pared by vacuum sintering process. The interface microstructure of the composite plate was analyzed. The shear strength and impact toughness of the composite plate were tested,and the wear resistance was com⁃ pared with that of the surfacing wear resistant plate. The results showed that there is a mutual dissolution zone with a width of 140~160 μm at the interface between steel knot cemented carbide and Q235 steel, and there is atomic diffusion in the mutual dissolution zone. The interfacial shear strength is 340~382 MPa,and a metallurgical bonding is formed between steel knot cemented carbide and substrate. The Rock⁃ well hardness of the composite wear resistant plate is 55~60 HRC,and its wear resistance is about 18.6% higher than that of the surfacing wear resistant plate. The impact energy of the composite plate is 7~10 J, which can be used in the harsh wear conditions under impact load.
