Abstract: Through the analysis of the ore-forming geological conditions such as strata,structure, geophysical anomalies,ore body characteristics and ore types of the KANUNKA copper-cobalt deposit in Congo(DRC),it is considered that the ore-bearing strata in this area are Luoan group,and the ore-con⁃ ducting and ore-bearing structures are clear. The magnetic anomaly shows the structural framework of the mining area,the electrical anomaly is consistent with the known mineralization location,and the folk min⁃ ing remains are abundant. Various prospecting indicators are obvious and have good prospecting prospects. The deposit is controlled by strata and faults. The Luoan group strata have experienced three mineralization stages: sedimentary stage,hydrothermal transformation stage and supergene enrichment stage. The genetic type belongs to the sedimentary-transformation-secondary enrichment layered copper-cobalt deposit.
